Politics is literally becoming a game full of school children trying to preserve their demented veiwpoints like a bunch of playground bullies. Why would ANYONE think it’s okay to boo someone for being gay? That person is a human, and while i’m not really big on the military and all that, they are doing something that they perceive will protect the citizens of their country, and it is brave, no matter what you think of it. Every single one of these Republican nominees has a disgusting lack of respect for basic human rights, not to mention disastrously misguided views on how to run a country. I think the GOP is a derailed trail that just keeps barreling into the ground and anyone who supports these people should really rethink themselves as human beings. Many of their ridiculous views are driven by religion, and while you can think whatever you want about religion, it has NO place in politics, because the founders of our country wanted it that way for a fair nation. I don’t give two fucks who you think you are but you don’t have a right to tell someone they are a bad person because they are gay. I also think people my age really need to care about this shit, at the very least know the consequences of letting the wrong person enter the Whitehouse. You may not be a fan of Obama, but at least he is pure of heart and has basic morals and values, which none of these other clowns have. ‘Not getting involved’ in politics because it’s ‘all bullshit’ or corrupt is immature and lazy. Of course it’s corrupt. You standing around not taking part in it isn’t going to change it. It’s one thing to not support someone, but at least know who has a good head on their shoulders. Respect is a basic admirable characteristic in a human, and if a nominee to run our country doesn’t even have that, they don’t even deserve to run. Sorry for the rant, it just saddens me that the political system of my country is falling apart before my eyes, and I sometimes fear what politics will be like in the time of my children..
